How do I join your affiliate program?
Joining
is very easy. Once you have read and agreed to the terms of
the operating agreement you should fill in the online application
form. We will review your application and send you an e-mail
containing your unique Affiliate ID Code / URL, together with
some tips and hints on what's working for current affiliates.
All
you have to do then is set up a link. We'll send you your
marketing report and commission payment each month. We'll
also keep an eye on this report and talk to you if we think
we can help increase your sales. And we'll send you a regular
affiliate newsletter.

Does it cost anything to join your program?
No.
Unlike certain other websites who charge to join their network,
there is no application fee and no minimum sales requirement
before you start to earn commission. And we provide all of
the tools you need to set up a link.
So
what are you waiting for? Read our operating
agreement and then fill in the online
application form!

I receive X number of unique visitors per month. How much
commission approximately will I earn?
We
can't predict your commission in this way. Your earnings will
depend on the number of visitors you send to us and the number
that buy. And this is driven by the design of your website,
it's theme, the affinity (or level of trust) of your visitors
to you, the amount of traffic it attracts, and how you promote
us.
If
you are not sure whether the program will work for you we
suggest that you fill out the online
application form. Before we accept you as an affiliate
we always review your website and, if we think you can earn
significant commission, we accept you onto the program. Once
on the program you can try some of the links and promotional
methods we suggest, and review the results. You lose nothing
by giving it a shot.

So how much will I earn?
A
very good question! If you have an attractive website pulling
in a reasonable number of visitors who have a good level of
trust, particularly if your website is travel based or you
regularly include travel features, you could earn a substantial
amount of commission each month.
That's
it. If your website is suitable you can reap big rewards.
How much will depend on how you link to us, how you promote
the links and whether you implement offline selling methods
(such as telesales). Which is up to you.

5.
Can I join your program if I have already joined another affiliate
network or program?
Yes,
as long as none of the other programs you have signed up to
have exclusivity clauses. In addition our agreement does include
a very specific and limited exclusivity clause for our niche
area. All we ask is that, if you chose to offer TravellersSOS,
you do not offer a competing product to your website visitors
too.

Is there a minimum traffic level to join as an affiliate?
We
do not require minimum traffic levels for affiliates to join
our program. We focus on quality, not quantity. We would rather
recruit a smaller partner with the right kind of users than
a larger partner outside our (travel and travel-related) field.
We are also aware that a low traffic website today might grow
to become a super-affiliate in the future!

What if I live outside the UK?
Only
UK residents can buy TravellersSOS. If your website
is aimed at UK residents but is based outside the UK you can
apply. However, we can only pay commission by direct transfer
to a UK bank account.

Do I have to sign up many times if I have more than one website?
As
long as your websites are all of a similar nature and none
would be deemed 'unsuitable' according to the terms of the
operating agreement, you do not have to sign up more than
once. All you have to do is give us the name of your main
website. We will issue you an Affiliate ID Code / URL, which
you can use in your links from all of your websites.
You
should note however that if you choose to do this you will
receive one report and one monthly payment covering all of
your websites.

How long does it take to connect as an affiliate?
You
will receive an answer via an e-mail on whether you have been
accepted within 2 working days of submitting your online application.
Included within that e-mail are joining instructions. To add
a link to your site takes about 2 minutes.

Why does my application need to be approved?
We
treat our affiliates as part of our sales force - offering
support and rewards to make sure they are successful. Just
as we would not employ a member of the sales force without
interviewing them and assessing their capabilities, neither
will we take on an affiliate without doing this.
We
like to be able to see your website before you become an affiliate.
When we visit your website we will check that it adheres to
the standards we have set in our operating agreement. If it
does, and we think you can profit from a relationship with
us, we will approve your application. If not we will decline
your application. We will inform you either way.

Why might I not be approved as an affiliate?
In
addition to the requirement that your website does not breach
the morality and legality code set out in our operating agreement,
we set certain other criteria. Our main criterion is about
content.
We
want you to sell lots of TravellersSOS policies. We
review your website to ensure that our product will be relevant
to your visitors. If we believe that it will be, you will
be accepted. If not, you won't be. We try to save both of
us time and effort. There's no point in either of us entering
into an agreement if we won't make any sales from it!
